all the kids cried out please stop you're scaring me
I can't help this awful energy
god damn right you should be scared of me
who is in control?
The fortress.
The Beauceron walked up to it, pausing in her steps when she saw the entrance. For most of her life she hadn't even noticed this fortress. It was only recently that she discovered it and it was located not that far from where she was raised.
With dark brown eyes, Red Rot, the Beauceron examined the fortress from where she stood. With a sigh she took a step forward and made her way to the entrance. One of the doors was pushed open slightly, just enough for her to wedge her body through the gap. She was sure there were many other entrances to this place but she hadn't really taken much time during her past explorations of this place to check where else she could come in from.
Red Rot lowered her head, getting her nose to the ground and she sniffed a bit at the hard ground she stood on. She couldn't tell if anyone had recently been through here or not. There were too many scents, many new, many were old, but none of which she could really determine if anyone was actually there in the fortress with her.
"Hello? Anyone here?" She barked loudly. Her bark only echoed, bouncing off the many walls. She waited for a response, but not too long.
With or without a response from someone she would explore either way.
The Beauceron started moving forward, tail in the air, head lowered and even with her shoulders. She turned down the first hallway she found and pushed doors open with her nose, scratching at other doors hoping to get them open. Some doors did open while others wouldn't budge.
Red Rot paused when she found a set of stairs she hadn't seen before. Her cropped ears stood erect on her head, dark brown eyes examining the stairs curiously before her gaze moved upward, following the steps up until she glimpsed the top. She hadn't explored any floor above the first floor before.
Without thinking any further about it she quickly walked up the stairs wondering what was on the second floor of this place. Maybe she could make her home here... Maybe not. She didn't have a set place she stayed at yet. She moved and wandered frequently, sleeping in a different place every night and it was starting to get annoying for her. But she only thought it was the safest thing to do since she was alone and had no one else with her to be her second pair of eyes or ears at night when she slept. If she ever made a friend or found a mate she'd certainly start staying in one place more often since having a companion would make her feel safer.
